Cursive graced the Capital Region with a special one-off show at No Fun in Troy. The band, who is currently on tour with their old Saddle Creek labelmates Bright Eyes, had a day off between shows in Burlington, VT and Brooklyn, NY. Instead of taking a well-deserved rest, they made a stop upstate to keep the rock alive. The special show was enough to bring local legends Aficionado out of hibernation for a special one-off performance. In front of a sold-out crowd, it was a celebration for experimental and boundary pushing indie rock. For both bands, it was a career spanning set that captured the eclectic twists and turns of their respective discographies.
