GALLERY: Saratoga new year’s eve

Downtown Saratoga Springs was busy with the excitement of celebrating a half-decade gone. Split between four venues (Saratoga Springs City Center, Upstate Preservation Hall, Putnam Place, and Caffe Lena), 11 acts took the collective stages throughout the night.
Prior to the evening’s fireworks display from atop the City Center parking garage, local eight-piece Tops of Trees warmed up the outdoor crowd. Inside the City Center, over the course of the evening, audiences got to choose from music by Sawyer Fredericks, Buggy Jive, DJ Rvmba, Cassandra Kubinski & The Kubandskis, David J, and the headliner and his supporting act, Ben Folds with Lindsey Kraft. Upstate Preservation Hall, Caffe Lena, and Putnam Place hosted The Figgs and Mystic Bowie’s Talking Dreads, Los Sugar Kings, and Dogs in a Pile, respectively.
