PREVIEW: historic albany foundation’s built fundraiser

Each fall, the Historic Albany Foundation holds its BUILT fundraiser event. This year, the event takes place from Friday, November 1 through Sunday, November 3 at the Washington Avenue Armory. Activities will include a three-day silent auction and art show, a disco-themed cocktail party, and a holiday shop. Proceeds from the fundraiser support Historic Albany Foundation’s mission to protect Albany’s architecture.


BUILT 2024 Schedule:

Friday, November 1st

  • Celebrate First Friday and get a sneak peek at the BUILT art

  • Holiday Shop - 5:30 to 8:30 pm

Free and open to the public, $20 suggested donation

Saturday, November 2nd

  • The Disco Ball – The Disco Ball will be a 1974 themed cocktail party taking place from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.  The gala will include great food, complimentary wine, cash bar, live music, a silent auction and dancing. The Holiday Shop will also be available.

  • Online bidding for the silent auction closes at 9pm.

General Admission Ticket Pricing is $135 for HAF members and $150 for Non-HFA members. There is also a Young Professional Ticket (35 years old or younger) available for $125.

Dress Code: Event organizers request that attendees wear their best 1970’s disco themed outfit!

Sunday, November 3rd

  • Public Open House - Noon to 4pm, visitors will be able to visit the Holiday Shop and purchase unsold art.

  • Art Pick Up
